In Finnish, the word my can be expressed through the ending -ni.

There are endings like this for other personal pronouns as well:
your (one person) = -si

our = -mme
automme our car
mukimme our mug
suumme our mouth
äitimme our mother
your (many people) = -nne
autonne your car
teenne your tea
kynänne your pen
lääkärinne your doctor
my, mine minun
your, yours (one person) sinun
his/her, hers hänen
our, ours meidän
your, yours (several people) teidän
their, theirs heidän (of people)
These genitive pronouns can be used in combination with the above endings, but can also be dropped out, the meaning stays the same.
minun autoni my car

sinun talosi your house
talosi your house
meidän äitimme our mother
äitimme our mother
teidän kynänne your pen
